Dr. Rodrigo Zuloaga

Postdoctoral Researcher

Biography

Dr. Rodrigo Zuloaga is a postdoctoral researcher in the Molecular Biotechnology Laboratory at Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB). He worked for several years in this laboratory as a research assistant and lab manager, and subsequently continued his academic training through doctoral studies. His research focuses on stress response mechanisms in aquaculture-relevant species, with more recent work centered on gill osmoregulation in salmonids.

He teaches General Physiology and Aquaculture Biotechnology as a lecturer at UNAB. To date, he has authored 40 scientific articles in indexed journals (WoS/ISI), co-supervised two undergraduate theses, and delivered more than 60 presentations at national and international scientific conferences.
