Dr. Pablo Cornejo Olivares

Biography
Dr. Pablo Cornejo is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Concepción (UdeC), Chile. His research focuses on fluid mechanics and computational mechanics, with applications in aquaculture, mining, energy, and aerospace engineering. In the field of aquaculture, he has developed Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)-based modeling approaches that have enabled the accurate characterization of the hydrodynamics of channels and fjords, as well as the development of innovative methodologies to improve the productivity of salmon farming sites. He is the author of several scientific publications in indexed journals and has presented his research at conferences in Chile, the United States, and Europe.
