Marcelo Muñoz Troncoso

Marine Biotechnology and Aquaculture Engineer, and Master of Science with a specialization in Microbiology from the University of Concepción. As part of the “Aquaculture Genomics” team at the INCAR Center, Marcelo Muñoz have conducted research in the areas of marine microbiota, genomics, and aquatic animal health. Him work has focused on microbiome studies and the impact of sea lice on aquaculture, integrating metagenomic and transcriptomic analysis tools to better understand host–microbiota–pathogen interactions.
