Dr. Leonardo Salazar

Biography

Dr. Leonardo Salazar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Concepción, Chile. He is also a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Applied Aquaculture Research (INCAR²) and the Environment for Development Initiative (EfD). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics (2016) and a Master's degree in Economics (2014) from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. His research focuses on time series econometrics, particularly in the fields of aquaculture economics and macroeconometrics. His work has contributed to a better understanding of how aquaculture product prices are determined in international markets.
