Katherine Espinoza Cea

Biography
Katherine Espinoza Cea is an Aquaculture Engineer from the Austral University of Chile and serves as a researcher, coordinator, and analyst at the Fisheries Research Program of the Austral University of Chile (UACh), Puerto Montt Campus.
She has been a member of the program since 2013, carrying out a wide range of activities that include field research, image analysis, and project coordination.
Her primary area of expertise is benthic marine biodiversity research. She has participated as a researcher in several projects funded by FIPA, FONDECYT, and the INCAR FONDAP Center.
Selected Projects
- Fixed Stations Network for Sea Urchin, Luga Seaweed, and Clam Resources in the Los Lagos and Aysén Regions.
