Daniela Aravena-Canales

Daniela Aravena Canales is a Ph.D. candidate in Biotechnology at Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) and a doctoral student affiliated with Research Line 4 (RL4) of INCAR². She earned her degree in Biotechnology Engineering in 2019 and worked as a Research Assistant at the Molecular Biotechnology Laboratory of UNAB until 2021.

Since 2022, she has been pursuing her Ph.D. in Biotechnology with support from an ANID scholarship, achieving doctoral candidacy status in 2023. Her research interests are focused on biotechnology and aquaculture, contributing to scientific projects related to aquatic organisms and their physiological and molecular responses.

In parallel with her research activities, Daniela has served as a lecturer at UNAB since 2020, teaching courses in Cellular Physiology and Aquaculture Biotechnology. She has also participated in the preparation of scientific publications and has presented her research at both national and international conferences, contributing to the dissemination of scientific knowledge in biotechnology and aquaculture.
