Dr. César Salazar

Biography

Dr. César Salazar is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business Sciences at the University of Bío-Bío, an Associate Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR²), and a Senior Researcher within the international Environment for Development (EfD) network. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and a Master's degree in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics from the University of Concepción, Chile. His research focuses on empirical applications of microeconomic development theory to a range of issues related to the use and management of environmental and natural resources, particularly in the areas of marine resources, agriculture, waste management, and sustainable energy transitions.
